Volunteer Opportunities
Foster Dog Parent
Foster Dog Parents provide loving care to puppies and other adoptable dogs. While the dog is waiting to be adopted into her forever home, she lives with her Foster Dog Parent, where she gets lots of love and learns how to live in a home environment. Without Foster Dog Parents, these dogs waiting to be adopted would be stuck living at the clinic or forced to move back onto the streets.
New to fostering? Don’t worry! We’ll provide you with free training and mentorship.
Clinic Volunteer
Whether you are a local or tourist, we welcome you to volunteer at our clinic. You can help with feeding, exercise, therapy, and (most importantly) give the love and attention that are so critical to animals in their healing journey.
When you arrive at the clinic, you will be welcomed by our Volunteer Coordinator, who will provide you with a tour and orientation. Short-term and long-term volunteers are welcome! Spending as little as a couple of hours can make a world of difference to the animals.
Community Leader
Community Leaders help feed street dogs in their neighborhood, share information about the importance of Animal Birth Control and rabies vaccinations in their community, and can get free training and certification to become a First Aid Responder to help street animals in an emergency.
Remote Volunteer
As a remote volunteer, you can help Varanasi’s animals, no matter where you are in the world! Do you have experience in content writing, editing, marketing, video production, design, engineering, data analysis, translation, grant writing, earned media, desk research, or another skill you think could help? Get ready to make a difference in the world!
